The Latino Veteran Experience

Each year, approximately 200,000 Service members leave the military and start their transition back to life as a civilian. While we may no longer wear the uniform, our commitment to serve never really goes away. We are your classmates, your first responders, your neighbors, and your fellow Americans.

Veterans acquire practical leadership experience while serving our country and they understand and value the importance of diversity. The Armed Forces brings individuals together from all walks of life, all areas of the country, and all ethnic backgrounds, and relationships formed during service often translate into lifelong friendships.

In this session, our distinguished panel of Veterans will share their experiences serving, the challenges of transitioning away from the military, the value of leadership that Veterans bring, and the leadership opportunities that associations offer.
