Association Latinos is dedicated to elevating Latino professionals in the association industry through its comprehensive awards program.

This program, which comprises four distinct awards, is designed to recognize and celebrate exceptional individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to their respective associations, the broader association profession, and the community.

Association Latinos Honores:

Award Timeline

  • The nomination window is open from April 1st to July 1st. All required materials are due by July 1st.

  • The awards committee will review submissions throughout August and will notify all nominators of their nomination status by early September.

Nomination and Application Process

  • All awards require self-nomination. To participate, applicants must complete the nomination form for the desired award and ensure all required letters of support are submitted simultaneously. The complete nomination, including all supporting materials, is due by July 1st.

The Association Latinos Honores Ceremony

Honoring Excellence, Leadership, and Community Impact

Join us at the Association Latinos Honores Ceremony, an elegant evening dedicated to celebrating extraordinary achievements and leadership within the Latino community.

This distinguished annual gathering recognizes exemplary individuals and organizations whose dedication, innovation, and public service have significantly advanced our community and inspired us all. Join us alongside esteemed leaders, professionals, advocates, and distinguished guests for a memorable occasion honoring “Culture as Power and Community as Strategy.”

    • Presentation of Honores: Recognizing Association Latinos Honores recipients for the Estrella, Inspira, Impacto, and Alianza Awards. 

    • Reception: Opportunities to connect with industry professionals  and honorees.

    • Date: November 5, 2026

    • Time: 4:30 pm - 7:00pm

    • Venue: Morningstar Chicago, 22 W Washington St #7, Chicago, IL 60602

    • Attire: Business casual

Awards Program FAQs

  • Please review the awards eligibility for more details.

  • The evaluation criteria for each award are included in the award application. A panel of judges will evaluate submissions and each criterion is scored on a five-point scale.

  • • Review each criterion.

    • Provide evidence and examples demonstrating how you have met each of the award criteria.

    • Tell a story within the noted word limits.

    • Ensure your endorsers can speak to one or more of the criteria for the award. Strong endorsements will address multiple criteria.

  • The content of your application should be your own original work and accurately represents your experience(s). The use of AI text generators (e.g., ChatGPT) or resources to generate content are prohibited.

  • Association Latinos notifies all recipients and non-recipients via email following the judging and selection process. Once recipients are notified, they will be announced via a press release in late September. Recipients will be honored at the Association Latinos Awards Ceremony event.
